Corina served in Havana as a U.S. diplomat and has spent years living and working internationally, gaining firsthand exposure to how political systems function across different regions of the world. That on-the-ground experience informs the analysis presented on CubanVote.com.
A U.S. Navy veteran and among the first women assigned to combat ships, Corina developed an early understanding of national security, leadership, and the institutions that shape global affairs.
Her career has spanned government, policy institutions, and global technology. She served as a Senior Strategic Advisor supporting the Secretary of Defense and held roles at Camp David, the Atlantic Council, and Meta, where she worked at the intersection of national security, diplomacy, and global technology policy.
Corina has also contributed to the academic field as adjunct faculty in Political Management at George Washington University, her alma mater. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Management from GWU, with a focus on governance, political systems, and public accountability.
Her connection to Cuba is also personal. Corina’s family fled the island during the early years of the Castro regime and rebuilt their lives in the United States. That history provides a generational understanding of how Cuba’s political trajectory has shaped families, communities, and the Cuban diaspora.
As an American with Cuban roots, a former diplomat who served in Havana, and a global traveler who has lived overseas, she approaches Cuba not as an abstraction but as a country whose future carries real consequences for its people and the broader region.
Her work focuses on bringing clarity to the political, historical, and geopolitical forces shaping Cuba today.

Havana, Cuba. Time spent on the island continues to shape the perspective behind CubanVote.com.
